On Friday, the 14th of June we visited Rockfield House in Co. Meath. The children really enjoyed dressing up!!
The children got to experience life as both the Lords and Ladies of the manor as well as servants. We learned how to wash clothes using a washboard as well as how to pump the water in the courtyard. We also learned the etiquette of the house and practised some dancing. Then, we had lots of fun driving go carts. Followed by more games and activities in the walled garden. We even made our own skipping rope from hay!!
