5th and 6th class are taking part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme (JEP) which involves creating a business and a product to sell. As a Green School, we took inspiration from our work with this programme and have been recycling jars and decorating them to make fabulous Christmas decorations that would be a fantastic addition to any home!
By taking part in the programme, the children are developing a greater understanding of many things that happen in the real world and life as an entrepreneur. The skills they are developing will stand to them in their further education and throughout their working lives.
The children have been working so hard and are so proud of their results! We are pleased to announce that our product will be on sale at the Killeshandra Christmas Markets on the 3rd December at 1pm.
